Heavy monsoon rains and the Ngawun River embankment failure have led to severe flooding in low-lying areas of Lemyethna Township. This flood inundation map, developed using ground observation data and Sentinel-1 SAR satellite imagery, identifies flooded areas, permanent water bodies, and the impacts of the embankment breach between 31 July and 5 August 2026, providing valuable information for emergency response, damage assessment, and disaster management.
